Wood Finish Laminates
67 designs in this category
Realistic wood-grain reproductions in oak, walnut, wenge, teak, maple, pine, and more — spanning light Scandinavian-inspired tones to deep, rich tropical species. The wood range is Wonderlam's largest category, covering the widest range of interior design styles and applications.
Wood finish laminates deliver the warmth and visual texture of natural timber without the maintenance demands, cost, or environmental concerns of solid wood or veneer. Advances in high-resolution digital printing mean today's best wood grain laminates are difficult to distinguish from the real material at typical viewing distances — especially in the Suede finish, which replicates the tactile quality of oiled or hand-brushed timber. When the surface texture is synchronised with the grain print (as in Wonderlam's Premium Wood range), the result is a material that behaves visually and physically like natural wood.
The wood range covers the full tonal spectrum: light species like maple, pine, and birch for contemporary Scandinavian-influenced interiors; mid-tone oak and ash for versatile residential and commercial use; warm cherry and teak for traditional or transitional styling; and deep wenge, walnut, and dark oak for bold, luxury-specification projects.
Choosing Wood Grain by Application
- Kitchen shutters — Straight grain patterns in mid-tone oak or walnut in Suede finish. Avoid very light or very dark extremes in small kitchens where the contrast can feel busy.
- Wardrobe panels — Lighter grains (maple, birch, light oak) in Suede or Matte for a clean, contemporary bedroom. Dark grains (wenge, dark walnut) for a bold, masculine aesthetic.
- Feature walls and headboards — Crown-cut or knotted grain patterns with natural arch-pattern character are ideal for wall panelling where visual interest is the goal.
- Commercial and office — Mid-tone oak and walnut in Matte finish for executive offices and reception areas. Light maple and birch for open-plan collaborative workspaces.
- Retail and hospitality — Rustic knotted textures for casual, warm environments; refined straight-grain darker tones for premium retail and hotel applications.
Every wood laminate design page on this catalog shows the Rehau and E3 edgebanding reference codes. Matching edgebanding is essential on wood grain laminates — the grain pattern should ideally continue onto the edge for a seamless, realistic result.
